Grilled Breakfast Sandwiches

Simple breakfast sandwich with country sausage, eggs, cheese and roated red peppers on a biscuit.
Ingredients
  • 1 lb country sausage
  • 3 stalks of green onions, diced
  • ½ white onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, quartered
  • 2 tbs Cholula Chili Garlic Hot Sauce (optional)
  • 1 tube of large biscuits or make from scratch
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 slices of sharp chedar cheese
  • ¼ tsp coase sea salt
  • ¼ tsp coarse ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Use Island Grillstone, skillet or griddle - preheat.
  2. Saute white onions, green onions and garlic.
  3. Set onions aside to cool.
  4. Roast red bell peppers.
  5. Place red bell peppers in plastic bag to steam, 10 mins.
  6. Peal skin off red bell peppers, set aside.
  7. Mix sausage, onion mixture and Cholula sauce.
  8. Form into patties about 3- 4 inches across.
  9. Grill till done.
  10. Grill eggs.
  11. Bake biscuits.
  12. Assemble and eat.
