Grilled Mini Apple Pies
- 2 pie crust
- 2 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 egg white, for egg wash
- 1½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup (16 tablespoons) brown sugar
- ½ butterstick, unsalted
- Preheat the grill to 350° F with island grill stone and cast iron pan.
- Melt butter in hot skillet and add apple slice to it.
- Add cinnamon, brown sugar, stir well and close the lid.
- Cook for approximately 8 minutes. Once done, allow it to cool down completely.
- Unfold the pie crust and cut into 4 parts. Using pastry brush, apply egg wash on the sides.
- Spoon prepared apple filling on the top, cover with another quarter of pie crust and seal the edges with fork as shown in the video.
- Brush with egg wash on the top and sprinkle sugar on the top.
- Place the pies on the grill stone and cook for 10-12 minutes.
