Sunday Morning Comics November 30, 2014
“Rumor has it that you're a great outdoor griller. Maybe you dogs aren't as dumb as I thought”
– Said the cat to the dog …
We here we are, another month coming to a close and what a month it was!
Some of the more signification events of the month to happen to me:
- Complete hard-drive failure. Yep, my cherished iMac with a 3TB hard-drive decided to stop working just a day before I was to leave for the World Food Championships! Took a week to get it fixed and another week to get caught up with everything – well actually, I still haven't got caught up.
- World Food Championships – Las Vegas Nevada. I spent 5 days and night there mingling with the best cooks, chefs, a celebrities in the business. The highlights for me were being able to judge the Sandwich category on Friday morning and then rushing off to earn my World Food Judge Certification!
- Food Fight Write conference – Las Vegas, Nevada. Held at the same time as the World Food Championships, I was a moderator for the YouTube presentation. This was a great deal of fun as I had a terrific panel of speakers to do this with.
- Thanksgiving – home. I volunteered to host Turkey day at our house for the family and I seriously worked my backside off getting all of this together. The best part was being able to flawlessly grill a 20lb fresh turkey that was just delicious!
- Garden – yep, I even found some time to work on the garden. Up[date coming there!
- Final projects at school – I prepared a Rosemary Pecan French Bread and a Baked Chocolate Meringue Chocolate Moose Cake for my baking class. Received an “A” for both, but I will never make the Baked Meringue again … just say'in 🙂
Yep, I am having too much fun!
Hope you enjoy this weeks Sunday Morning Comics from my good friend Cartoonist Jerry King!
