Is Chicken leaner than Beef?

Well Skinless Chicken Breast is but did you know that there are 29 cuts of Beef with a total fat content that is lower than a Skinless Chicken Thigh? I didn't, not that this will change my wife to a meat eater either. I did think that it was worth while to check out and found that the National Cattleman's Beef Association has this handy chart to reference,  listing 29 cuts of beef than are leaner than a Skinless Chicken Thigh.

“It is a common misperception that the majority if beef's fatty acids are saturated. In reality beef is just like most other foods that contain fat – it has a fatty acid package containing various amounts of saturated fat, monounsaturated fat and polyunsaturated fat. In fact half of the fatty acids in lean beef are monounsaturated, the same heart healthy type found in olive oil.”
