May's Newsletter Drawing
Wow, it's May already! BBQ season has struck and everyones grills are aflame. No respectable BBQ'er would throw a chunk of anything on the grill with out a good rub on it and that is exactly what this months Cooking-Outdoors May Newsletter
Drawing is all about, rubs! Not just any kind of rub but Pepper Pilot Rubs!
Cooking-Outdoors has partnered with Pepper Pilot Barbecue & Spice Company to bring you two of thier very best rubs. Pepper Pilot hails out of California and they have a mission: “To make and enjoy great BBQ and meet new friends along the way!” It doesn't get any better than that!
Let me tell you about the two rubs they are donating for the May Newsletter Drawing:
Rattlesteak: Shake, rattle and rub this Santa Maria style blend on tri-tip, prime rib, potatoes, hamburgers, mushrooms and other vegetables. A mild, sugar-free blend of salt, pepper, garlic, parsley and other classic flavors everyone is sure to enjoy.
: Peri Peri Africa’s exotic hot pepper (also known as peri peri) comes alive in this exceptional, flavor-packed rub combining with it citrus, garlic and salt. Best for chicken or seafood, and virtually anything else to bring a pungent heat. Mix with olive oil and lemon juice to create a superior baste for chicken.
The Pepper Pilot Barbecue & Spice Company is a family orientated business and a member of the California Barbecue Association (CBBQA) and is a proud supporter of the children's Make-a-Wish foundation and donates 5% of all sales to this worthy cause.
Their line up of rubs also includes:
South Seas Heat: Hafa Adai! Inspired by the Guam Boonie Pepper this spicy rub mixes flame and flavor with a touch of sweet to wake your taste buds – and with no lingering after-burn. Perfect on brisket, rib-eye, chicken, fish, pork, and wings.
Java Lava: The perfect combination of coffee and spice comes together in this unique blend. Excellent for waking up the flavor of beef, pork, chicken, veggies and, their favorite, rack of lamb.
