Smoker Bags

Smoker Bags part 2

I finally was able to do my final meal using the Smoker bags that I posted about in my Smoker Bag review article. These where the bags that Jennifer Honeycutt of Realm Enterprises aka HotDiggtyCajun.com of Nashville, Tennessee sent me back in January. As you remember, I was quite impressed with them and the incredible smoke flavor that permeated the food. The incredible ease of use and the super easy clean up was a big hit for me.

Smoker Bags part 2I tried three different meals with these bags using the Adler and Hickory versions of this Finnish invention. the results were, each and every time, perfect. Rich smoky flavors and no mess – no fuss cooking. Each meal was prepared using a propane grilling technique and a charcoal fire technique. The charcoal fire technique was used to see if this could be easily adapted to a campfire and it passed with flying colors.
