Cabela's Outfitter Series Oval Roaster/Griddle
So far I have cooked roasts, ribs and stews in mine. The possibilities are endless. Did I mention griddle? Well that's what the lid will be for if you just flip it over. Pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs or crepes, you can do it all on this griddle!

If you have one or get one, let me know what you think!
I just looked and these are 74.99 now… I would love to try a turkey in one of these, but I don’t think my wife would let me get one of these… castironitis, which she does NOT suffer from. Have you done a turkey yet? The chickens look delicious. Great pics!
Love mine ! This thing is HUGE, so you have to plan your recipes accordingly. I originally bought it to be a companion piece for my Lodge Sportsmen’s Grill. It is an absolute perfect fit, so much so that you’d swear it was made for this exact purpose. I’ve used it on my Lodge quite a bit, but also on my other grills and my indoor oven as well. It’s also great for camping. Be aware, it IS heavy, but not so much that you can’t handle it – just be careful ! I’ve used it so much that a shorter list would be what I haven’t used it for… yes, I do use it that much. Roasts, tenderloin, chicken, lamb, turkey breast, ribs, ham, pork shoulder – the list goes on and on. Numerous stews and casseroles, including a huge “pigs in a cornfield” that I doubled the recipe for and still didn’t fill it all the way up. On the griddle side, I’ve used it for everything breakfast related, plus burgers, hotdogs, steaks, chops, wings, even fried chicken at one of our favorite camping spots – which was a huge favorite among all our group. What more can I say ? It’s a typical dutch oven, just on steroids… It’s big, but you adjust and simply cook more ! Problem solved… More is always better ! I highly recommend this to everyone, and several friends have bought one as well. Plus, the more I use it the better it gets… Like I said, I really do love this thing !
I love my C C Oval many uses including Breads , which I have Not seen mentioned .
