How to make pizza dough with 6 simple ingredients?
You’ll need 2 large bowls, 3 cups of all-purpose flour, plus a little extra, 1 cup of lukewarm water, 1/4 cup of olive oil, plus a little extra, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1 packet of active dry yeast.
First thing, let’s take our water and add our sugar.
We’ll give that a good mix.
Add our olive oil.
And then sprinkle the yeast on the top to let it activate.
This will take about 5 minutes.
While that’s happening take your flour and your salt and give it a good mix.
Once your yeast has activated, start adding the flour and mix.
Little bit at a time.
Until it is completely incorporated with the water.
Yep, you may have to get your hands in there and give it a mix.
Now, take some of that extra flour and sprinkle it out on your board and knead your dough for about a minute.
Once that is done, add some of the extra oil to the bowl, add your dough and coat.
Then cover with some clear wrap to let it rest for at least an hour and rise till it’s doubled.
When that’s done, take it, punch it down, take it out on to your board and knead it for a few more minutes till it’s smooth and silky and ready to roll out.
Hey, that’s it.
Thanks for watching.
